The Port of Dutch Harbor was a critical military sight during WWII. There are still historical ruins that capture the intensity of Aleutian Theater and it's role in the war. Much of the hidden treasures can be seen from the water, all within an 8 hour tour. From May until October, you will likely see hump back whales, orcas, otters and exotic birds. This is a great family trip that can be done in one day.

We have been 100% successful completing research that is not only remote but biologically diverse, with a weather pattern that calls for experience on the sea. Captain Jimmer McDonald IS that local expert.

Captain Jimmer McDonald has been working and commanding vessels since he was 16. His Father "Mac" was a king crab fisherman in the 'heyday" of fishing. Jimmer worked as a crew member then. He became a licensed Captain in 2005 and today has completed over 3,000 charter days with a perfect safety record, with zero incidents for neither crew nor passengers.

In the Bering Sea, the real culprit is weather and while no-one has control over that aspect, a wise Captain with decades of experience, knows his limits. That's what makes the difference between success and failure- A Great Captain!!
